This blog will be mainly focused on my own experiences with computers and software. Both I am using now purely as a user and hobbyist. Also I comment on interesting news about ICT, privacy and combinations of both.

HP hooks up with Calxeda to form server ARMy
According to The Register HP is teaming up with Calxeda to deliver ARM-based servers for the datacenter. The power envelope of this type of server is much lower then what Intel has to offer so far. Of course Intel is busy to push the powerenvelope of the Atom cpu down to less then 10 Watt but that will take a while. In the mean time HP thinks it is a good idea to start selling low power servers now and not to wait for Intel. Big question is what does this mean.
